UPDATE 27 March:

Passenger air traffic to Hungary is stopped. Only Hungarians and EEA citizens with a Hungarian residency permit are allowed to enter the country ONLY via road traffic by car. Anyone arriving in Hungary will either go in official isolation if suspected to be infected with COVID-19 or go in official mandatory home isolation for 14 days if not suspected to be infected.

Liszt Ferenc International Airport in Budapest is not closed. Airlines’ measures are independent from Hungarian regulations. Hungarians and EEA-nationals with a permanent Hungarian residency permit flying into Budapest will be allowed into the country. Everyone else will be asked to wait in a transit zone, and their cases will be dealt by individually.
